Revitalization of Sajnekhali Sunderbans Tiger Reserve

The Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve is one of the most important facets of the Sunderbans Wildlife Sanctuary.Being the main office of the Sanctuary, the site is the face of the same on the global map, attracting thousands of visitors and hence, needs to be redeveloped and maintained properly. This thesis project

proposes to revitalize the Tiger Reseve, it Interpretation Centre and lodging facilities, making it a cluster of interactive spaces while being environmentally sound. Alongside this, the site also needs an animal quarantine centre for certain emergencies, which the project proposes.
